What Doth The Lord Require of Thee?
Micah 6: 7b, 8
“...shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?  He
hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly,
and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”

Do Justly:
Psalms 15:1-5
“LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?  He that walketh
uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not
with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that
sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh
reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Psalms 1:1-6
“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of
sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his
law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall
prosper.  The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore
the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For
the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.”

Love Mercy:
Mt 5:7
“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”

Walk Humbly:
Ps 19:13
“Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then
shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the (my) great transgression.”
Ps 19:14
“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD,
my strength, (my Rock) and my redeemer.”
